Vintage black inlay & 925 Indian Chief head cufflinks
Click to enlarge each image. Zoom images below.
This is a pair of vintage cufflinks in sterling and black inlay. The design appears to be an Indian chief head, although I am not one hundred percent certain of that. Each one is stamped "925, Hecho en Mexico." The lettering on the stamps are partially worn away. Only the backing of the square parts of these cufflinks are sterling, not the stems or rotating section; those are not sterling. Each one measures 7/8" wide. x .75 high. They read as fairly dark in person. I took three pictures with flash to show better detail, but the second photo without flash is more accurate as to how they read in person, fairly dark, with much tarnish and wonderful patina. Some surface wear (tiny scratches) and tarnish throughout.
