925 marcasite Thai faux pearl & black inlay pin

This is a sterling and marcasite pin with a faux mabe pearl in the center and black inlay. Signed "Thai, 925, SS." The word "Thai" is a bit difficult to read, but I am almost certain that is what it says. Measures 1.25" at the widest points. Some residue of an adhesive label on the back of the pearl. The rotating lock clasp turns to lock in the opposite direction from the way they normally turn. Slight bend in the pin stem from use. Some tarnish and surface wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. Beautiful patina. Good condition, flaws as noted.
