Heavy 925 oval pendant with Asian characters or symbols on 21" chain, total weight 42.7 grams

This is a heavy and solid sterling pendant with Asian characters. (I am reasonably certain they are Asian, not totally sure.) There are different symbols/characters on each side, and I have shown both sides in the photographs. The pendant is stamped "925," along with something that looks like an upside down letter "U" and a number "2" and then "20." Pendant measures 1.25" x .75", not counting the 6mm bale loop at the top. Pendant weighs 16 grams. The chain is stamped "925" on the spring ring clasp, and also "925" and two connected arrows pointing away from each other with a "2" and what I think is a teeny tiny letter "M" in the middle of the two arrows. The chain is very heavy and solid also: measures 21" long, 4mm wide and weighs 26.7 grams. Chain and pendant together weigh a total of 42.7 grams. Some darkening, tarnish and surface wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. Also some scuffs here and there on the pendant on both sides. Overall in very good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted. Please view and enlarge all photographs as part of the description.
